Hey all, so as many of you know, I am off to Romania from Sept. 1- Dec. 16 or so. I wont be on facebook much but I will try and update this blog with pictures, stories and thangs like that.
I have never blogged before so be patient haha but here goes.
I will be staying in the city of Iasi, Romania. I'll be on the east border, close to Moldova. The point of this study abroad/ internship is to help improve the lives of the many orphans there. Romania was recently liberated from communist control in 1989, under which children were institutionalized left and right. The children I will be working with have many different disabilities, predominantly fetal alcohol syndrome and attachment disorders.
